Held every July 20th, Ugly Truck Day is a celebration of hard-working trucks that have been beat to hell.
Ugly trucks have dents, scratches, bizarrely repaired damage, and makeshift modifications of questionable quality. But all of these ugly scars add up to a quintessential characteristic worthy of an (still unofficial) national holiday.
UglyTruckDay.com is the official home of this unofficial event, and our goal is to make Ugly Truck Day as popular as other bullshit national holidays, like “take your dog to work day” or “Columbus Day*.”
How You Can Help
If you want to help us raise awareness of Ugly Truck Day, you can:
- Sign our online petition
- Like and share our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter, or on Instagram
- Buy a bumper sticker or hitch cover for your favorite ugly truck
- Share an ugly truck picture with us, so we can share it with everybody
Whatever you do, make sure you mark down July 20th on your calendar as Ugly Truck Day.
*Columbus was an awful, awful man, hardly deserving of a national holiday. See for yourself.
